Automated Calculator for 1:1 aim using Relative Coefficients

🎮 AIM FOR MOUSE.

My version of true 1:1 aiming using relative and not Legacy.
Same as Legacy 1.00 where hip fire is the same as ads but with the added benefit of having the same tracking speed no matter the weapon or zoom level.

Quick intro to Monitor Coefficents

Legacy:

This setting reduces rotation speed based on the new field of view when aiming down sights (ADS). This can lead to inconsistent mouse movements across different zoom levels and weapons, making it less ideal for achieving 1:1 aiming.

Relative:

This setting adjusts rotation speed to maintain a specific monitor distance with the same mouse movement, regardless of zoom level. This allows for consistent 1:1 aiming across different zoom levels and weapons, providing a more predictable and uniform aiming experience.

1.78: Typically used for a 16:9 monitor, matching the monitor distance (flick distance to the edge of the monitor for 16:9 aspect ratio) with the same mouse movement, regardless of zoom level.

1.60: Typically used for a 16:10 monitor, matching the monitor distance (flick distance to closer to the edge of the monitor for 16:10 aspect ratio) with the same mouse movement, regardless of zoom level.

1.33: Typically used for a 4:3 monitor,(flick distance to closer to the edge of the monitor for 4:3 aspect ratio) also matching the monitor distance with the same mouse movement, regardless of zoom level.

0.00: Scales sensitivity towards the center of the screen, mathematically best and is known for better tracking at the cost of higher zoom levels feeling slower than lower zoom levels.

The choice between these settings can depend on personal preference, monitor aspect ratio, and playstyle. It's worth experimenting to see which one works best for you.

1:1 Aim - Legacy vs. Relative

The variation between theses two stem from how these settings manage field of view (FOV) adjustments between weapons

In “Legacy” mode, your rotation speed is reduced based on your new field of view when you aim down sights. So an SMG will have a slower ADS than an AR due to it having a higher weapon FOV etc. This can lead to inconsistent mouse movements across different zoom levels and weapons, even if your ADS and hip fire have the same cm/360. This inconsistency might make aiming feel less comfortable or natural.

On the other hand, “Relative” mode with a coefficient of 1.78 (typically used for a 16:9 monitor) adjusts your rotation speed to maintain a specific monitor distance with the same mouse movement, regardless of your zoom level. This means that your aim will feel consistent across different weapons and zoom levels, providing a more predictable and uniform aiming experience. Meaning an SMG will feel the same as an AR while Aiming down sights. This consistency might make aiming feel better, while keeping your ADS and hip fire to have the same cm/360 using the calculator above.

For Achieving True 1:1 aim I would personally recommended "selecting Coefficient for 1:1 aim: 1.78" instead of Legacy

If you set a custom zoom while using Legacy and dont prefer 1:1 aim then just use my calculator and set your own ADS or (1.00) while setting your preferred relative coefficient in config

This way all your weapons will feel the same when aiming which is important for warzone etc. So just set your ads to 1.00 which Legacy cannot do.

Remember that in “Legacy” mode, your rotation speed is reduced based on your new field of view when you aim down sights. Which is not the best for warzone or constantly changing weapons.
